The Active Life of the Troup County Senior Center 

 

The Active Life is a recreational gathering place for independent older adults (55+). Our campus is made up of an Activity Center and a Wellness Center. The Activity Center is open Monday through Friday from 8am till 4pm and Wellness Center is open from 10am to 2pm. These buildings are also open some evenings and weekends for special events.

 

Among the services provided by the Troup County Senior Center are; Home delivered meals for homebound seniors; a nutrition program (daily lunch); Exercise programs (chair & water aerobics); Recreation tournaments; Tax assistance; Driver's training; Computer training; Arts and crafts classes; Indoor recreation and games; Walking trails and outdoor recreation; Fellowship; Educational training in topics relevant to senior adults; Prescription assistance information; travel; hair care and Identity theft prevention, and many other services.
