About Us

The Troup County Senior Center is a gathering place for independent older adults (55+). Our facility on Ragland Street was built in 1992 through combined funds from a federal community development block grant, the Callaway Foundation and the Troup County Government. This facility was designed to meet the needs of Troup County’s growing older adult population. The programs of the Center are funded through Federal and State Grants, the Troup County Board of Commissioners, the United Way of West Georgia and self-generated funds. The Senior Center is managed by the Troup County Parks & Recreation Commission. Located just off Lafayette Parkway on Ragland Street, the Troup County Senior Center has become the focal point of senior adult activity in the LaGrange community.
